    Description

    AI for Farmers Mobile App Developer

    Responsibilities

    • Design, build, and maintain the AI for Farmers mobile app to help farmers access weather forecasts, pest detection, soil health updates, and market prices.
    • Integrate AI and machine learning tools into the app for real-time farming insights.
    • Collaborate with the Civicom Aid team, agricultural experts, and community representatives to ensure the app meets farmers’ needs.
    • Ensure smooth user experience with simple interfaces for rural farmers, including multilingual and offline features.
    • Regularly test, debug, and update the app to improve performance and security.
    • Provide training and technical support to local staff and farmer groups.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
    • Proven experience in mobile app development.
    • Knowledge of AI/ML integration and APIs.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to create apps with user-friendly design for low-literacy users.
    • Familiarity with offline-first mobile applications and data synchronization in low-connectivity areas.
