Intermountain Health/St. Mary's Regional Hospital volunteers provide retail customer service in the Gift Shop to patients, visitors and staff.
Assigned Duties:
- Welcome and assist customers in selection of gift shop items.
- Operates cash register and credit card machine for all sales.
- Answers the phone and completes phone orders for merchandise.
- Follow procedures for opening and closing the Gift Shop.
- Dust and restock shelves and maintain the cleanliness of the shop.
- Observe for potential shoplifters.
- Completes daily and weekly assigned tasks such as watering plants and checking- in floral arrangements.
- Merchandise and inventory processing.
- Display reconfiguration and design.
Requirements:
- Must pass criminal background check and complete hospital health screening.
- Complete hospital orientation and position training.
- Maintain patient confidentiality.
- Be courteous and respectful toward patients, visitiors, staff and volunteers.
- Represent the hospital core values and mission.
- Able to work without supervision.
- Able to adapt to a changing environment.
- Ability to speak pleasantly on the phone.
- Customer service experience.
- Ability to work with team members.
- Ability to follow directions.
Other Skills:
Retail experience and cashier experience helpful.

Days & Times Available:
- Monday-Friday: 9am-1pm, 1pm-5pm, 5pm-7pm
- Saturday and Sunday: varies times available
3 shifts available:
- 09:00 to 13:00 MST
- 13:00 to 05:00 MST
- 17:00 to 19:00 MST
