Description
SASA is looking for Virtual Conference Volunteers (unpaid) to assist our Virtual Conference team in facilitating the planning of our yearly conference. This position is most well-suited for someone with an event management background or with experience putting together conferences. They must be flexible, adaptive, and comfortable working independently as new projects and tasks emerge.
Position Description & Responsibilities:
As a Virtual Conference Volunteer you will work as part of the Virtual Conference Team to develop, schedule, and organize SASA virtual conferences as well as finding potential speakers and participants.
Examples of responsibilities include:
- Communicating internal improvements to other teams
- Research assignments as assigned
- Help plan and organize our yearly virtual conference
- Attending meetings with Virtual Conference Team
