Volunteer Editorial Associate (Remote | Certificate + Publication Credits)

About the Opportunity

AYA India is seeking Volunteer Editorial Associates to support the review and refinement of written submissions for our Letters to Kindness campaign. This role is ideal for individuals who have an eye for detail and want to gain real editorial and publishing experience while contributing to an international youth-led initiative promoting inclusion for children with disabilities.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Review and proofread letters, articles, and creative submissions from volunteers
• Ensure content is emotionally respectful, clear, and aligned with AYA India’s tone
• Support in content refinement, formatting, and final approval preparation
• Coordinate with the content writing and marketing teams when needed
• (Optional) Assist in selecting the best pieces for publication in AYA India’s Virtual Book of Kindness

Stipend Details

This is an unpaid volunteer opportunity.

However, a performance-based stipend (20% of funds raised) may be offered only if the volunteer also assists in fundraising activities.
