    Role Overview

    The PostBaby Bliss Foundation is seeking an experienced and driven Director of Development to lead our fundraising and grant-writing efforts. This key leadership role is responsible for creating and implementing comprehensive strategies to secure the financial resources necessary to sustain and grow our programs.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Fundraising Strategy & Execution:

    o Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising plan.

    o Set and achieve annual fundraising goals.

    o Cultivate and maintain relationships with individual donors, corporate partners, and foundations.

    • Grant Writing & Management:

    o Research and identify grant opportunities.

    o Write and submit compelling grant proposals and reports.

    o Maintain a grants calendar.

    • Donor Stewardship:

    o Develop and oversee donor recognition and engagement strategies.

    o Manage donor databases.

    • Collaboration & Leadership:

    o Partner with the Executive Director to align development initiatives with the Foundation’s strategic priorities.

    o Work closely with the Marketing Director to create campaigns.

    o Provide leadership and mentorship to staff and volunteers.

    • Special Events & Campaigns:

    o Plan and execute fundraising events.

    o Oversee annual giving campaigns.

    • Reporting & Metrics:

    o Track and analyze fundraising data.

    o Prepare regular reports for the Executive Director and Board of Directors.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Education: Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, communications, business, or a related field.
    • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in fundraising, grant writing, or development roles.
    • Skills:

    o Strong writing and storytelling skills.

    o Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

    o Strategic thinker with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

    • Abilities: Ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.

    Nice to Have Qualifications

    • Master’s degree.
    • Experience managing donor relationships and using donor management software.

    Preferred Personal Attributes

    • Passionate about supporting postpartum families and advancing the Foundation’s mission.
    • A proactive, self-starter who can work independently and collaboratively.
