Use Your Marketing Skills to Support Local Art & Youth Programs

Honey Art Studio is seeking a creative and community-minded Volunteer Marketing Manager to help amplify our mission of making art, culture, and design accessible to all. We provide free and low-cost programs for youth, artists, and residents in the Fillmore and across San Francisco.

The Volunteer Marketing Manager will play a key role in building awareness, engaging the community, and promoting events such as art workshops, fashion shows, walking tours, and cultural fundraisers.

Responsibilities include:

• Developing and implementing marketing and outreach plans for upcoming events and programs
• Managing social media content and engagement (Instagram, Facebook, Eventbrite, etc.)
• Designing promotional materials and coordinating press or media coverage
• Building partnerships with local businesses, artists, and community organizations
• Supporting sponsorship and fundraising campaigns through creative storytelling

Ideal candidate:

You’re passionate about art, culture, and community impact, with skills in marketing, design, or communications. Experience with Canva, social media management, or community outreach is a plus.

This is a volunteer position with flexible hours — a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience, build connections, and make a meaningful difference in preserving and promoting the legacy of the Fillmore’s Harlem of the West.
