Bereavement Volunteers Wanted

Would you like to make an impact in someone's life? Commonwealth Hospice is currently looking for compassionate people to help make a difference in our patient's lives. Being a volunteer in hospice is very satisfying and rewarding!

Our bereavement program is currently looking for caring and loving individuals to assist families in their time of need. Commonwealth Hospice bereavement program follows these families for 13 months after their loved ones have passed away, to ensure they get the support that they need.

Bereavement volunteers can provide support in a plethora of ways including:

• Assisting with monthly mailings to families
• Weekly or monthly support calls to families
• Assisting our bereavement coordinator with our support group
• Helping our bereavement coordinator with weekly/monthly tasks

Commonwealth Hospice services patients in many areas throughout the Pittsburgh area such as:

Greentree, Whitehall, Baldwin, Jefferson Hills, Bethel Park, Mt. Lebanon, McKees Rocks, West Mifflin, Pleasant Hills, McKeesport, Bellvue, McCandless, Gibsonia, Bridgeville, Upper St. Clair, Oakmont, Penn Hills, Allison Park, Oakdale, Robinson, Kennedy Township, and many more surrounding areas.
