    Description

Long Term Care Ombudsman Program of Tompkins County

Join us as a Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program volunteer and help ensure residents in local nursing and adult care homes are heard and treated with dignity and respect. You’ll visit facilities, listen to concerns, and work together with residents, families, and facility staff to resolve issues—always with guidance from our staff. No prior experience is needed; we provide training and ongoing support. Scheduling is flexible, and even a few hours a month can make a real difference for older adults in our community
