    Description

    Responsibilities:

    • Designing and scheduling engaging social media content on Instagram and TikTok
    • Creating graphics, posts, etc. using Canva related to promoting youth literacy and raising awareness to worldwide inequities in education
    • Developing strategies to grow followers, increase engagement, and expand our global audience
    • Highlighting programs, events, partnerships, and impact stories
    • Helping guide the long-term social media vision as the organization scales

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience using Canva, Instagram and TikTok
    • Experience growing or managing social media accounts and gaining followers
    • Strong understanding of social media trends, analytics, and audience engagement
    • Excellent written communication and storytelling skills
    • Passion for literacy, education and global equity
    • Ability to work independently and take initiative

    This is an unpaid board position, best suited for individuals excited to grow alongside an expanding nonprofit and make a tangible difference through digital advocacy.
