Guests of the Minneapolis Opportunity Center who experience homelessness find a safe, welcome place, and supportive resources. The Center connects guests with health services, hot meals, showers, a computer lab, laundry, locker rental and employment counseling.

Volunteers are needed to help our team prepare and serve breakfasts or lunches in Minneapolis. You will receive on the job training by staff and no special skills are required. Tasks include prepping food and setting up beverages, dishing up the meal, wiping down tables, washing trays, dishes and pots & pans while providing a warm greeting to guests.
Single shifts are 2-3 hours, available Monday through Saturday.
No long-term commitment is needed; sign up for a single event or as often as you can
We welcome volunteers who are age 14 and older to participate. Volunteers under 18 need to be accompanied by a responsible adult volunteer and have a waiver before volunteering. Contact us at volunteer@cctwincities.org right away to request the waiver for you child.
A parking lot, street parking, and lockers are available for volunteers.
