Group Dinner Volunteers
A Hot Meal. A Moment of Care. A Team Effort.
At Switchpoint, dinner is more than just food. It’s a chance to come together, nourish the body, and remind every guest that they’re seen and valued. Our shelter provides a safe, respectful space for individuals and families working toward housing and stability—and every meal served here supports that journey.
Groups of 4 to 8 volunteers can make a powerful impact by preparing and serving dinner for our residents. The ingredients are donated. The effort is shared. The outcome is meaningful.
Cook together. Serve with heart. Be the shift.
What will volunteers do?
Volunteer as a Dinner Group (4–8 People) Arrive 4pm - Serve Meal 6:00pm
Gather your group and come make a difference in the kitchen.
As a dinner team, you’ll prepare and serve a hot evening meal for Switchpoint shelter residents and others on campus. It’s a fun and fulfilling way to serve together—whether you’re coworkers, church members, friends, or family.
We provide the space and support. You bring the people, the energy, and the heart. Together, you help turn donated ingredients into nourishment and care.
What will volunteers need to bring or wear?
Wear clothes you won't mind getting stained or dirty and closed-toe shoes.
