    Description

    Location: New York City (with some hybrid flexibility)

    Position Summary

    LP4Y USA is seeking a dynamic and creative communications lead to strengthen the link between LP4Y USA and the Global Communications team, as well as oversee the communication efforts around LP4Y USA’s key events and initiatives.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Serve as the main liaison between LP4Y USA and the Global Communications team to ensure alignment of messaging and use of communication tools: organize regular meetings and use provided LP4Y Alliance tools.
    • Coordinate and support communication efforts across LP4Y USA’s major events, including the Gala, the Youth Inclusion International Forum, and Together We Art.
    • Create and manage communication materials such as social media posts, pamphlets, newsletters, and donor-facing content in collaboration with the Global Communications team and the USA board.
    • Ensure proper access to and use of communication platforms such as Constant Contact (similar to MailChimp) and other internal systems.
    • Work with the events and donor management teams to align messaging and ensure consistent branding and communication across all outreach.

    Ideal Profile

    • Strong communicator with a preferred background in communications, marketing, or public relations.
    • Familiarity with digital platforms such as Constant Contact, Canva, Google Suite, and social media tools is preferred.
    • Experience coordinating projects and working with diverse teams in a hybrid format.
    • Strong alignment with LP4Y’s mission and values.
    • Availability and flexibility to commit to a volunteer leadership role.
