    Description

Mission Advocate – Operator Outreach and Verification Preparation (Remote)

    About the Role

As a Mission Advocate, you help identify and prepare locally active learning operators for participation in the GoodHands Mission Forum. Your work focuses on finding mission-aligned grassroots initiatives, community learning spaces, and frontline education actors who directly serve underserved populations and could operate a GoodHands Digital Learning Hub.

You will review publicly available information, build structured profiles, and prepare verification-supporting summaries that make mission presence clear, comparable, and reliable—without ranking, promotion, or external pressure. You will not decide membership alone, but your structured recommendations help ensure that strong local actors can enter the Forum with clarity and dignity.

If you enjoy mapping real-world education access efforts, working independently, and contributing to a mission with high structural standards, this role is a strong fit.

    What You Will Do

      • Identify potential Mission Forum Operators and locally active initiatives (online research + structured screening)
      • Review websites and public information for basic fit (mission, local activity, continuity, credibility)
      • Prepare short structured profiles for internal review (facts, context, contact points)
      • Support outreach preparation (drafting internal outreach notes, recommending next steps)
      • Help clarify whether an organization is likely an Operator (frontline learning actor) or a Multiplier/Enabler (partner who can connect operators)

    What You Will Not Do

      • No fundraising or donation requests
      • No promises of Forum membership or approval decisions
      • No operational management of local programs or learning hubs
      • No public representation or external negotiation on behalf of GoodHands
      • No ranking, evaluation, or performance scoring of local initiatives

    What You Need

      • Strong reading and synthesis skills (websites, mission statements, program pages)
      • Clear and respectful communication
      • Reliable self-guided work style and good documentation habits
      • English required (additional languages are a plus)
      • Interest in education access, grassroots learning, community development, and mission-aligned work

    What You Will Receive

      • A structured briefing pack with examples and templates
      • A clear framework for verification preparation and Forum participation pathways
      • A meaningful role with real responsibility and visible mission impact
      • Option to grow into deeper responsibility over time (based on reliability and fit)
