Serving on the Somerville Homeless Coalition’s Board of Directors is an opportunity to make a meaningful and direct impact on the organization, the community, and the ongoing crisis of homelessness and food insecurity. As a group, we are passionate about SHC’s work and we are committed to helping SHC succeed, grow, and fulfill its mission of finding everyone a home. Committed to community building and to treating all people with dignity and respect
Excited to build relationships within and across the community, including with donors, other non-profits, local businesses and organizations, community leaders, members of the public, and our clients and guests
Motivated to create, cultivate, and support systems that make an impact on homelessness and food insecurity in our community
Prepared and available to participate in the board through both meetings and committee work and
committed to making a personally meaningful contribution to SHC
