    Description

    Hospice Volunteers Needed in Palatka and Crescent City

    Position Summary: To provide companionship and emotional support to patients and their caregivers facing life threatening illnesses and death.

    1. Provides respite care by staying with the patient up to 2 hours while caregiver runs errands.
    2. Provide companionship to patient when caregiver is home, not home or in a facility.
    3. Maintains strict patient/caregiver confidentiality.
    4. Welcome to volunteer in the Palatka Care Center, facilities, or in the home.
    5. Volunteers must have their own transportation if they are visiting patients in the home.
    6. Must be reliable.
