AccentCare Hospice Volunteers make a profound impact in the lives of our hospice patients and their loved ones. As a bereavement volunteer, you can serve families after their loved one has died by making low risk bereavement check in calls. Knowing that they are not forgotten and neither is their loved one helps in the grief process. Staff and volunteers make bereavement calls to provide a listening ear, help link families to resources and offer connection.
After volunteers go through orientation, calls can be made from their homes or in our Franklin office.
No previous hospice experience is needed, AccentCare Hospice will provide training and support throughout your time as a volunteer.
If you are looking for a deeply rewarding volunteer opportunity, then this is for you!
