    About CIDO:

    Comprehensive Infant Development Organization (CIDO) is a registered nonprofit in Rwanda working to promote Inclusive Child Development for children under 18 years old.

    Our program focus on health and nutrition, education & early childhood education, disability inclusion, water & sanitation, Climate child resilience, youth empowerment and family economic strengthening.

    Our vision is to ensure that every child grows in a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment.

    Role Overview:

    We are looking for motivated and detail oriented Grant Writing Volunteers to join our team and help us identify funding opportunities and develop compelling grant proposals. This is a remote volunteer role perfect for individuals passionate about social impact and skilled in writing and research.

    Key Responsibilities:

      • Research and identify relevant grant opportunities from foundations, governments, and international donors.
      • Write, edit, and submit high-quality grant proposals aligned with CIDO’s mission and projects.
      • Collaborate with program staff to gather information and data needed for proposals.
      • Track deadlines and ensure timely submission of grant applications.
      • Assist in preparing reports and updates for funders as required.
      • Support building and maintaining a grants calendar and database.

    Skills & Qualifications:

      • Excellent written English communication skills with strong attention to detail.
      • Experience in grant writing or proposal development preferred but not required.
      • Ability to research and analyze funding opportunities.
      • Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
      • Passionate about child development, inclusion, and nonprofit work.
      • Ability to work independently and remotely.
