    Description

    Summary of Role:

    TPCA’s Online Store & Merchandise Manager helps steward our digital storefront with care, creativity, and ethical precision. This volunteer role supports fundraising, outreach, and mission visibility by managing merchandise strategy, product fulfillment, and customer experience. Ideal for someone who values justice-centered design, organized systems, and collaborative planning.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage product listings, descriptions, and updates on the online store platform
    • Coordinate merchandise design, sourcing, and inventory tracking
    • Collaborate with Communications to align merchandise with campaigns and messaging
    • Ensure accessibility, clarity, and emotional resonance in product presentation
    • Monitor orders, troubleshoot issues, and maintain customer service standards
    • Explore creative merchandise ideas that reflect TPCA’s mission and community

    Desired Skills/Qualifications:

    • Experience with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Etsy, Square)
    • Strong writing and visual communication skills
    • Comfort with spreadsheets, inventory systems, and basic design tools
    • Creative mindset and attention to detail
    • Alignment with TPCA’s trauma-informed and dignity-centered approach

    Time Commitment:

    Approximately 5–8 hours/week, with flexibility for seasonal or campaign-based surges. Minimum 6-month commitment preferred.

    Training/Support Provided:

    Orientation, access to shared documentation, and ongoing support from Communications leadership and peer volunteers.
