    Description

    Volunteer Christian Non-Profit Fundraiser

What does it really mean to follow Jesus in today’s world? With so many people feeling lonely, burned out, or caught in the chaos of everyday life, the call to make disciples can seem distant or even overwhelming. At the same time, the Church faces its own challenges: splits, distractions, and a struggle to connect deeply with both God and one another. In all this noise, the simple yet powerful mission Jesus gave us-to make disciples-often gets lost. Sync your life. Ignite the mission — a global movement equipping volunteers to live out God's purpose with passion.

    Mission

    Sync with God exists...

    TO empower disciple-making communities globally

BY matching Biblically based, culturally relevant content

WITH global channels and audiences desperate for TRUTH.

    Vision

A growing movement of inspired, passionate, globally evangelistic, discipling communities worldwide.

    Values

    Commanded to Pray always

God’s Word is TRUTH (always reliable)

    Reliance on the Holy Spirit

    Relationships through Community

    Growth through Discipleship

    Extending Grace to all

    Priority of Mission over self

A Volunteer Christian Non-Profit Fundraiser plays a crucial role by helping raise funds for Sync. Here are the key responsibilities and skills associated with this role:

    1. Organizing Fundraising Events: As a fundraiser, you’ll be involved in planning and executing fundraising events. This includes coordinating logistics, managing volunteers, and ensuring the success of these events.
    2. Writing Funding Proposals: You’ll create compelling funding proposals to present to potential sponsors. These proposals outline the organization’s goals, impact, and how the funds will be utilized.
    3. Creating Marketing and Promotional Activities: Fundraisers design marketing materials and promotional campaigns to raise awareness about the nonprofit’s work. This involves using various channels such as social media, email, and community outreach.

    Requirements and Skills:

    • Experience: Proven work experience in fundraising or a similar role.
    • Creativity and Persuasion: Ability to craft persuasive messages that resonate with potential donors.
    • Organizational Skills: Good organizational abilities to manage events, campaigns, and donor records.
    • Leadership Qualities: Strong leadership skills to guide volunteers and collaborate with organizational leaders.
    • Training and Certifications: Relevant training or certifications in fundraising can be beneficial.

Remember, as a fundraiser, your interactions with donors should always be professional and engaging.
