Respite Volunteer

Role Description: Spending time with patients to provide caregivers a needed break -- to run errands or attend appointments.

Our main branch resides in the Dallas area, but we also have branches that cover the Waxahachie and Sherman area. Volunteer opportunities available in Dallas, Waxahachie, and Sherman.

Three Oaks Hospice formerly Total Hospice and Palliative Care supports patients and their families with compassion, care, and dignity. We believe in providing outstanding service and look to volunteers to help support our efforts. Volunteers help support patients, families, and clinical staff with a wide variety of tasks as it relates to the hospice mission.This position involves sitting with a patient and providing company for a little while. Location: Group homes, private homes, We would love to have you be a part of our team, and we will provide the required orientation and training! We require all volunteers to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 prior to volunteering; otherwise, they will be regularly tested for COVID-19.
