    Description

    Felt Education is a non-profit organization that promotes cross-cultural education and understanding through ESL classes, Felt Education welcomes students across the globe, including refugees and low-income immigrants, survivors of war, torture, and trafficking. FeLT NYC is a free service that provides programs and classes seven days a week.

    Role Description

    This is a remote volunteer role for an English Second Language Teacher. The ESL teacher will be responsible for teaching a one hour English class to students once a week (with minimal administration duties).

    We currently need two teachers available to teach during weekday evenings (EST), beginner or intermediate level.

    Qualifications

    • Experience in English teaching, including lesson planning and teaching English to speakers of other languages.
    • A passion for promoting cross-cultural education and understanding.
    • A commitment to volunteer work and making a positive impact on the lives of others.
    • Ability to work independently and remotely.
