    Description

    Overview

We’re looking for a Brand Designer to help evolve and unify the visual identity of Dev Launchers—a nonprofit dedicated to empowering the next generation of innovators through hands-on experience in tech and design.

In this role, you’ll translate our approved moodboards into a cohesive and scalable visual system using Dev Launchers’ existing logo, typography, and color palette. Your work will shape how our brand is perceived across all channels, bringing clarity, creativity, and consistency to our mission-driven identity.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and apply Dev Launchers’ visual identity across digital and print assets
    • Create branded templates and materials (e.g., social media graphics, slide decks, etc.)
    • Ensure consistency and accessibility across all brand touchpoints
    • Collaborate with the Design Department and cross-functional teams to align visuals with messaging and tone
    • Maintain an organized brand library in Figma
    • Iterate on visuals based on feedback from stakeholders
    • Attend our weekly design team meeting every Sunday from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. CST
    • Participate in three rotating cross-department collaboration sessions per month on Sundays:

    [Design × Research] 9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. CST

    [Design × Development] 12:15 p.m. – 1:15 p.m. CST

    [Design × Product] 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. CST

    Skills & Experience

    • Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar)
    • Strong understanding of brand design, typography, and layout principles
    • Experience developing and maintaining cohesive brand systems
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
    • High attention to detail and commitment to quality
    • Preference for previous experience developing branding materials and guidelines

Time Commitment 5–10 hours per week, including participation in the weekly team meeting and rotational collaboration sessions.
