Help keep a Senior from standing at a bus stop with their walker in the rain!

Make a difference in someone's life. It only takes a few hours a month! Help low-income seniors and people with disabilities stay in their homes as long as possible. VS provides assistance to clients who cannot afford services, do not qualify for assistance elsewhere or do not have family/friends to help them.

Volunteer opportunities may include 1) driving clients to the grocery store or medical appointments, 2) running errands and going shopping, 3) lending a hand with housework, 4) yard work, 5) minor household repairs, 6) cutting and/or delivering wood for heating, 7) assisting with moving/packing, and 8) providing help with necessary telephoning, reading and writing.

You choose when and how you want to volunteer with our program with our user friendly computer scheduling program. Mileage reimbursement paid from your home and back.
