    Sponsorship & Corporate Partnerships Volunteer

    About the Ted Rhodes Foundation

The Ted Rhodes Foundation honors golf trailblazer Ted Rhodes while expanding access to golf for youth nationwide. Through our Future Golfers of America – Growing the Champions of Tomorrow programming, we provide junior golf tournaments, clinics, college pathways, and leadership development. More than 1,500 youth participate annually in our events across multiple cities including Chicago, Nashville, Atlanta, Jacksonville, and beyond.

    Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated Sponsorship & Corporate Partnerships Volunteer to help secure corporate sponsors and donors for our youth golf programs, the Ted Rhodes Junior Golf Tour, and the annual Ted Rhodes Charity Golf Classic.

Ideal candidates have experience in fundraising, sales, marketing, corporate social responsibility (CSR), or nonprofit development — or simply a talent for networking and building relationships.

This role has a direct and meaningful impact: sponsorship helps fund youth golf access, equipment, scholarships, and national expansion.

    • Research potential sponsors and corporate partners
    • Assist in outreach to companies, foundations, and community organizations
    • Support sponsorship proposal development and follow-up communication
    • Identify local and national businesses aligned with youth development, DEI, wellness, sports, and community impact
    • Track conversations, leads, and commitments
    • Support stewardship of existing donors and partners
    • Collaborate with Foundation leadership to shape sponsorship strategy
    • Help secure sponsors for the 2026 Ted Rhodes Junior Golf Tour and all signature events

    Qualifications

    • Interest or experience in fundraising, business development, nonprofit work, PR, or marketing
    • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
    • Organized, reliable, and proactive
    • Ability to conduct outreach professionally via email, LinkedIn, and phone
    • Passion for youth empowerment, sports, or expanding golf access
    • Self-starter comfortable working independently
    • Golf knowledge is helpful but not required
