    Volunteer Outreach Specialist

Volunteer Outreach Specialist – Latinx Communities

    Volunteer | Remote | 10–15 hours per week | 4-month commitment

    Who We Are

At Creshendo, we believe that everyone deserves a chance to belong, rebuild, and rise. We co-create solutions with displaced communities—always listening, collaborating, and centering lived experiences.

Fueled by integrity, empathy, and curiosity, we're building innovative and inclusive programs that reimagine what's possible for displaced people everywhere. If you're excited to challenge the status quo and help transform lives, you’ll feel at home here.

    Why This Role Matters

Your contributions aren’t just tasks—they’re acts of bridge-building. As a Volunteer Outreach Specialist, you help ensure that Latinx newcomers feel welcomed, informed, and connected to opportunities that support their integration, learning, and empowerment.

By expanding our community partnerships and strengthening our presence across Latinx communities, your work directly impacts how newcomers access culturally grounded programs and supportive networks.

    What You’ll Be Doing

    • You’ll identify and connect with community organizations and partners to build trusted relationships.
    • You’ll maintain outreach pipelines, track engagement efforts, and support recruitment across all Creshendo programs.
    • You’ll help promote webinars, workshops, and public events that empower community members.
    • You’ll share program information in a culturally responsive, trauma-informed way that reflects Creshendo’s values.
    • You’ll collaborate closely with the Community Connection Pod and the Project Coordinator to align outreach efforts.
    • You’ll join weekly check-ins and support ongoing communication to ensure smooth coordination.

    What You Bring

    • Strong communication and relationship-building skills—you enjoy connecting with people.
    • Comfort with sending outreach emails, making phone calls, and participating in virtual meetings.
    • Experience working with Latinx communities, immigrant-serving organizations, or community engagement (preferred but not required).
    • Alignment with trauma-informed, SEL, and culturally grounded practices in outreach and communication.
    • Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred, but not required.

    What You’ll Gain

Joining Creshendo as a Volunteer Outreach Specialist means you’ll:

    • Build meaningful relationships with community partners supporting Latinx newcomers.
    • Gain hands-on experience in community outreach, partnership development, and nonprofit engagement.
    • Strengthen your skills in culturally responsive communication and trauma-informed practices.
    • Collaborate within a supportive, inclusive, international team that values bold ideas and diverse voices.
    • Play an essential role in expanding access to programs that help newcomers rebuild and thrive.

Even if you don’t meet every single requirement, if you’re passionate about connection, inclusion, and community empowerment—we’d love to meet you.

    How We Work

We operate with a G.Y.S.T. mindset: clarity over chaos, consistency over perfection, action over ego.

If you’re someone who follows through, communicates clearly, and cares about craft—you’ll feel right at home here.
