    Role Overview

    The Training Assistant plays a key supporting role in the coordination and circulation of HerNest’s biweekly training sessions.

    This role supports the structure behind the sessions — from reusable design templates to organized communication flow and record tracking. The position is well suited for someone who enjoys organized systems, clear workflows, and thoughtful presentation.

    Key Responsibilities

    Training Design & Templates

    • Design reusable Canva templates for training flyers and session announcements
    • Create adaptable participant certificate templates
    • Develop clean attendance sheet formats
    • Format guided session summaries for circulation
    • Ensure all templates are reusable across different partner organizations

    Training Communication & Circulation

    • Send biweekly training updates and reminders
    • Circulate guided session materials
    • Assist with onboarding new organizations to the training mailing list
    • Maintain structured and consistent communication flow

    Documentation & Record Support

    • Maintain attendance records using Google Sheets
    • Organize training materials within shared Google Drive folders
    • Ensure all session documents are properly archived and easy to retrieve

    Required Skills & Tools

    Technical Skills

    • Basic Canva design skills
    • Familiarity with Google Drive and Google Sheets
    • Email communication tools
    • Basic familiarity with Zoom or Google Meet
