Community Event Ambassador – The Arc of Marshall County (2 hrs/month)
Organization: The Arc of Marshall County
Location: Marshall County, IA — various venues (churches, schools, community centers)
Time Commitment: 2–3 hours per event; aim for one evening/month (flexible)
When: Evenings or weekends. Near-term needs: Bingo, Movie Night, Karaoke, Crafts, Taco Night, Trivia, plus seasonal events (Halloween, Christmas Party, Prom, Day Camp, Fishing, Kickball with Cops, and more)
Why this role matters
For many neighbors with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), Arc events are the only regular chance to meet friends, laugh, and belong. Your presence keeps 12+ inclusive events running all year.
What you’ll do (pick a role each time)
Ideal for
Friendly people of all ages; faith and service groups; workplace teams; retirees; students needing service hours. No experience required. Training provided.
