Become A Volunteer

In hospice, we learn that every moment of life is a treasure. Our volunteers give the priceless gift of their time. We wouldn't be who we are without them and the support they provide to our patients, families, and our staff.

A few areas where volunteers are utilized at EZ Comfort Hospice Care include providing emotional, spiritual and physical support to patients and families. This can include helping in the office, with the patient/family, or at special events. Some examples of volunteer service include:

• Visit with patients
• Help patients write their life story
• Shop for personal items
• Household tasks
• Caregiver respite
• Nursing Home or Care Center visits
• Specialized services (i.e. beautician, barber)
• Pick-up and deliver medications
• Special events

EZ Comfort Hospice Care will provide you with training so you will feel comfortable being an EZ Comfort Hospice Care volunteer. As an EZ Comfort Hospice Care volunteer, you will have the information and support to help patients and families.off
