    MANAGE YOUR OWN DEPARTMENT Partnership & Community Collaboration

    Volunteer Role with Employment Pathway

    Organization: The Grandparents Community Network (TGCN)

    Reports To: Founder / Executive Director

    Commitment: Minimum 5–8 hours per week

    Term: 30-Day Trial → 90-Day Performance Review

    Location: Remote (U.S.-based preferred)

    Role Purpose

    The Partnership & Community Collaboration Lead is responsible for building, strengthening, and formalizing relationships with nonprofits, community organizations, faith-based groups, and mission-aligned partners to expand TGCN’s reach and impact for families and grandparents raising grandchildren.

    This role is action-oriented and requires consistent outreach, communication, and follow-through.

    Key Responsibilities

    Identify potential nonprofit, community, and organizational partners

    Conduct outreach via email, phone, and virtual meetings

    Schedule and support collaboration conversations

    Track outreach efforts and partnership progress

    Support the development of partnership agreements or MOUs

    Provide weekly progress updates and documentation

    Remain engaged until partnership objectives are completed

    Demonstrated ability to follow through on commitments

    Strong communication and relationship-building skills

    Outgoing, professional, and community-minded personality

    Comfortable initiating conversations and networking

    Organized, responsive, and deadline-aware

    Passion for family support, advocacy, and community building
