    Description

    Pet Peace of Mind Volunteer

    We are looking for a dedicated volunteer to play an active role in the Pet Peace of Mind program in all areas of NWA. The PPOM Coordinator will be directing the program, while the volunteer keeps close contact with a Veterinarian, Pet shelter, groomer.

    The Volunteer must be comfortable with animal handling experience and not shy away to care for a Hospice patients pet in that home. Volunteers are assisting in the general well being of the pet if the patient is no longer able to including:

    Feeding,

    Grooming

    Veterinary care

    Rehoming if needed.

    Other opportunities to help include fundraisers and upkeep of a Pet food pantry.
