Description
Christian HELP is seeking caring and dependable volunteers to serve as Client Services Volunteers in our Employment and Resource Center. This front desk role is ideal for individuals who enjoy welcoming others, providing assistance, and being part of a mission driven team.
Responsibilities include:
• Greeting visitors, answering phones, and offering a warm first impression to everyone who enters.
• Providing general information about Christian HELP’s programs and directing clients to the appropriate staff or resources.
• Assisting with administrative tasks such as filing, organizing supplies, and preparing materials.
• Helping maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming client service area.
• Supporting staff and other volunteers during special projects and events.
Qualifications:
• At least 16 years old.
• Friendly, professional, and reliable with a heart for service.
• Comfortable interacting with diverse individuals and maintaining confidentiality.
• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new systems.
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand or walk for extended periods.
Hours:
Flexible scheduling, typically 4 to 6 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. or 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.).
