Metropolitan Day Habilitation is a skill building program where people with developmental and intellectual disabilities receive training for daily living skills, such as communication and self-preservation, community awareness, independent living and pre-vocational skills. It has been open since 2002 and currently serves 29 people. They are interested in creating a volunteer-led creative art class. The medium of choice is up to the volunteer whether it be painting, drawing, or even clay!
