    Description

    Volunteers at the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank will help with various projects, such as: assembling shelf-stable food packages; assembling 5 lb. produce bags; or sorting through bread/assorted goods. These packaged and sorted items will be distributed to over one million families, older adults, individuals, and children who face food insecurity in Los Angeles County.

    PLEASE NOTE:

    • Volunteers must be able to lift between 10-25 lbs.
    • Arrive 15-20 minutes early to allow time for parking and check-in.
    • Plenty of free parking available on-site.
    1. The minimum age requirement to volunteer is
    • No walk-ins are allowed - all volunteers must register online ahead of time.
    • For your safety, headphones/earbuds cannot be worn in the production/volunteer area.
    • We recommend volunteers to not bring their personal belongings, but we do have lockers available onsite.

    DRESS CODE:

    • All volunteers must wear closed toe/closed heel shoes.
    • Casual and comfortable attire is recommended.
      • Ex: t-shirt and jeans
      • For safety reasons, please no shorts or tank tops
    • We no longer require volunteers to wear a mask; however, it is strongly recommended.
    • Gloves will be provided on-site.
