Team Captain for Team Kitten Rescue in March 2026 LA Marathon (Marathon, Charity Half Marathon and Big 5K

Location: Atwater Village Los Angeles (remote with occasional meetings and meet ups at the rescue )

Are you a passionate runner who also loves cats? Join us as the Team Captain for Team Kitten Rescue, leading our runners in the LA Marathon, Half Marathon, and Big 5K! We're looking for an enthusiastic, experienced runner or race participant who can help recruit, rally and inspire a team of fundraisers to go the distance for homeless cats and kittens.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the main point of contact and cheerleader for Team Kitten Rescue runners
• Help recruit and build a motivated team of runners and peer-to-peer fundraisers
• Inspire teammates with regular communication, training tips, and fun team updates
• Organize team meetups or training runs (optional but encouraged!)
• Help create a supportive and fun team culture that brings runners back year after year

Qualifications:

• Experience running or participating in organized races (marathon, half, or 5K)
• Strong communication and motivational skills
• Passion for animal rescue, especially cats and kittens
• Comfortable promoting the team and recruiting new members (online and in person)
