    Description

    Lead the OHS Social Media Team!

    Are you passionate about animal welfare and the power of storytelling? Use your digital skills to make a real impact for animals and humans in our community. In this role, you’ll collaborate with OHS team to plan, create, and publish content across our social media platforms—engaging new audiences, amplifying inspiring stories from the field, and strengthening our brand identity.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Supervise a team of SM volunteers to draft and schedule social media posts aligned with OHS Programs and operational activities
    • Support visual asset selection and design (using Canva or similar)
    • Monitor social channels for engagement opportunities
    • Help track post performance and compile monthly analytics
    • Stay up to date on social media trends and recommend ways to improve
    • Assist with occasional live posting for events or observances

    What We’re Looking For:

    • Strong writing skills and a keen eye for visual storytelling
    • Experience with social media platforms and Meta scheduling tool
    • Familiarity with Canva and basic graphic design
    • Passion for animal welfare and nonprofit communications
    • Organized, self-motivated, and responsive to feedback
    • Experience with nonprofit organizations is an asset, but not required
