    Description

MLK Day of Service: Fueling Community in Northeast Philadelphia

"Life's most persistent and urgent question is, 'What are you doing for others?'" — Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Join Bless Philadelphia this MLK Day for a "day on, not a day off." We are a community hub and food pantry serving Northeast Philadelphia, dedicated to promoting the peace, prosperity, health, and safety of our neighbors. We are looking for energetic volunteers to help us prepare our facility for our upcoming distribution weeks.

    Volunteer Roles & Projects:

We have several service projects planned to improve our pantry operations. Volunteers will assist with:

    • Organizing and stocking pantry shelves.
    • Deep cleaning and facility maintenance.
    • Prepping distribution bags for families in need.

    What We Provide:

    • A meaningful way to honor Dr. King’s legacy.
    • Morning Fuel: Coffee and doughnuts will be provided for the morning shift.

Snacks: Light snacks and water will be available throughout the day.
