Eager volunteers are needed to help center staff increase the number of therapeutic and stimulating activities for our patients by taking the lead or assisting program staff with fun and exciting one-on-one or small group activities including:
Do you love bringing joy to others? Join our Activities Team and help make each day brighter for our patients living with Alzheimer’s or another dementia! As an Activity Assistant Volunteer, you’ll help plan, prep, and participate in group activities like music, art, games, and exercise — supporting meaningful moments of laughter and connection.
When you can help:
🗓️ Monday–Friday
🕒 9:00 am to 3:00 p.m.
We ask for a commitment of one 2-hour shift per week — but don’t worry, we understand life happens! Absences for illness, vacation, or appointments can be accommodated.
We’re looking for volunteers who have:

⏰ Patience and reliability
✨ A consistent schedule
Minimum age: 15 years old
(An interest in working with older adults is appreciated but not required!)
All volunteers will participate in an interview and orientation to ensure the best fit. You’ll be supported by our Activity Coordinators and staff who will guide you every step of the way.
