    Description

    The Latino Victory Project is currently looking for a special projects intern. The intern will work in a fast-paced environment, learning about political and advocacy campaigns, and creating content for Latino Victory’s social media channels. The intern will also have many opportunities to attend relevant talks, panels, conferences, and receptions, representing Latino Victory, if said events occur in their location.

    Latino Victory Project accomplishes its mission by:

    1. Supporting and electing leaders who reflect our community’s values
    2. Empowering Latino voters through increased political participation
    3. Developing a pipeline of Latino donors in order to invest in Latino Victory and its candidates

    Position Description

    The Latino Victory Project is currently looking for an intern for special projects. The intern will work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities will include:

    • Provides support for the political department, including political and demographic research regarding campaigns affecting Latino populations
    • Provide support for the communications department, including research, assistance with drafting press releases, talking points, op-eds, newsletters, and social media
    • Research on issues such as immigration reform, environment, education, access to jobs and others
    • Donor support, including proposal writing and editing, and logistical assistance with public and private events
    • Administrative duties as needed

    Qualifications:

    • Ideal position for current college or graduate students
    • Spanish/English language skills preferred
