Friends of Buddha Fellows is a mission-driven nonprofit based in the United States that supports the Buddha Fellowship, which is headquartered in India and focuses on developing scalable entrepreneurial ventures that also create good livelihoods in small Indian cities and rural areas. Buddha Fellows strive to alleviate poverty in rural India by empowering entrepreneurs to build sustainable livelihoods in underserved communities. To date, there have been 51 Buddha Fellows across 8 Indian states, which have created 137 jobs in rural India.

The U.S. office plays a strategic role in mobilizing philanthropic capital, building institutional partnerships, and amplifying the organization’s global impact.
