Choice Hospice

Do you want to make a difference in someone's life? Are you looking for a rewarding opportunity to help someone at the most vulnerable time of their life? Choice Hospice volunteers do just that. We provide training for our volunteers to ensure that your time spent with our patients is memorable, enjoyable and safe for both the patient and the volunteer. Your time is valuable, and we recognize that. We do not require a specific time commitment from our volunteers. You tell us when you are available, and we will work around your schedule. We have a wide variety of opportunities for volunteering, so you can pick and choose the type of activities that you are interested in providing. For example, you can do puzzles, crafts, play music, provide pet therapy, scrapbooking, or just talking with the patient. Maybe you can just sit quietly with them so that they aren't alone as they prepare to pass from this life. Whatever your skills and abilities, we can match you with a patient that would greatly appreciate your time. We can even meet volunteer requirements for continuing education or to help with your application to a medical program. If you aren't interested in volunteering directly with patient care, there are a number of administrative tasks that you can help with as well.
