Gilead Health Care has been providing Austin, TX and the surrounding areas with comprehensive home health care since 2004. Our hospice provides services that help patients remain at home and receive all the required care to live till the end of life pain-free and with dignity; we also provide support to families in the face of the advanced illness being exprienced by their loved ones. Our goals are to exceed patient/family expectations by providing the highest standards of care, respect dignity and enhance the quality of life, relieve pain and other symptoms, and to provide an atmosphere of comfort and compassion while helping patients, their families and loved ones deal with the emotional impact of death. Our hospice care is provided by a specialized team made up of attending physicians or the hospice medical director, nurses, social workers, aides, spiritual counselors, and volunteers.
