Zero Waste is an organization dedicated to both commercial and residential recycling waste servicing Rishikesh, India. Our organization is fueled by experienced and highly educated waste management engineers. Our aim in to incorporate experience, education and cutting edge technology to recycle and upcycle the greatest possible percentage of waste. Our final goal is to create 100% recycled materials and 0% waste.Our mission is to serve both the material and spiritual environment by:Collecting and processing all disposable waste in Rishikesh and the surrounding area.Adopting ethical and transparent business practices to create an atmosphere of trust and cooperation within the community.Obtaining funds to be optimally invested in the most efficient and available technology.Training and implementing local labour to create jobs and careers in waste management.Creating educational programs to inform the public on the benefits of proper waste management and recycling.Eventually reaching our goal of 0% disposable waste and 100% recycling.Becoming a model facility to be duplicated in other cities in India.Cleaning and revitalizing the sacred GangaRiver as it flows into the heart of India.
