Smith Street Maternelle and Smith Street Workshop are French-immersion early childhood and tutoring programs in Brooklyn. Our work centers on progressive, relational education — helping children learn through connection, creativity, and bilingual exploration.

We serve a diverse community of families, offer financial aid, and are committed to expanding access to high-quality bilingual early childhood education. Our mission is rooted in care, human-centered practice, and the belief that children learn best in nurturing, joyful, developmentally grounded environments.
