Oh Scrap

Oh Scrap DC is a food recovery program whose mission is to raise awareness and accessibility of

composting in the DMV area. We reduce food waste by partnering with businesses and residents to

return macronutrients back to the soils of local farms and gardens.

Oh Scrap DC is working in partnership with local DC farmers to ensure our communities benefit from our

work. We make composting easy for businesses by working alongside your staff to understand the

complexities of busy work environments. We also provide composting consultations and educate

residents on how composting can be made simple for them by providing them with the appropriate

tools and knowledge to become compost crushers.
