Brookhaven Hospice NH provides care wherever a patient lives: In a private residence, an assisted living facility, or a nursing facility. The hospice team, called the interdisciplinary group (IDG), helps you and your family make informed decisions about caregiving, teaches skills for care, and helps with end-of-life care. We also offer support through bereavement services. Brookhaven Hospice NH has three office locations - Bedford, Windham, and Portsmouth - but provides hospice care throughout New Hampshire.
Volunteers are a vital part of hospice and are carefully selected and trained to provide support to patients and their families in a variety of ways. Services include companionship, respite and vigil visits, and life review, bereavement and administrative support. Volunteers are often involved in our complimentary therapy programs such as music, art, aromatherapy, pet therapy, We Honor Veteran programs and others.
