Amedisys

Beacon Hospice, an Amedisys company, provides compassionate care at end of life for patients and their families through a multi disciplinary approach of staff made up of the medical director, nurse, HHA, bereavement coordinator, chaplain, social worker, volunteer coordinator and volunteers. We also take pride in our veteran to veteran program honoring all our veterans with a recognition ceremony thanking them for their service. The volunteer department has many projects that we work on, Hearts for Hospice, which is making sure all our patients receive a bag of valentine cards. This year we collected over 3500 valentine cards and were able to give valentines to every person in every facility that we work, not just hospice patients. We go Christmas caroling, hold pot lucks and much more!
