Heritage Hospice

The mission of Heritage Hospice of Texarkana,LLC is to participate as an active part of the community, to provide and continuously improve hospice services to meet the needs of the patient by delivering value driven, high quality compassionate care.

Heritage Hospice is a family owned, family focused organization that started in 2010. The philosophy of Heritage Hospice is to affirm life by providing support and care to those in the last phase of incurable disease so that they can live as fully and comfortably as possible and die with dignity. Without volunteers the hospice could not provide the kinds or the scope of services which are needed to enhance the quality of the lives of our patients and their families.

Volunteer functions can include:

• Respite for the caregiver
• Family support
• Running errands
• Assisting with light housework
• Listening
• Working in the hospice office
• Public relations

Heritage Hospice volunteer program's goal is to enrich patients and family members while dealing with a very important time in their lives.
