    Mill Law Center (MLC) is a new, fast-growing law firm dedicated exclusively to the non-profit sector, with a focus on advancing progressive causes consistent with its mission and building a non-hierarchical and equitable work environment.

    Mill Law Center provides legal support to the non-profit and social enterprise sectors, including:

    • Individuals or companies seeking to launch a new non-profit, apply for tax-exemption, and establish a structure for long-term sustainability and impact.
    • Established public charities, private foundations, and other exempt organizations seeking outside general counsel, with specific expertise in corporate law, tax law, charitable trust and solicitation law, impact investment, and charitable gift planning.
    • Lawyers and other experts with different areas of focus that want to support non-profits (whether paid or pro bono) and wish to consult with non-profit law experts.
    • Entrepreneurs and companies that want to explore a collaboration between the for-profit and non-profit sectors to achieve their mission (e.g. establishing a joint venture or non-profit affiliate, donating an interest in a business to a charitable organization).
