    The mission of St. Joseph Villa Homecare & Hospice is to provide physical, emotional, social and spiritual support to terminally ill patients, as well as their families and loved ones, while assisting patients and families to live with dignity and comfort as they cope with end-of-life issues.

    The Hospice philosophy is based upon caring for the patient and family who are experiencing a terminal illness. Emphasis is placed on improving the quality of life through symptom management, pain control and compassionate support in the comfort of the patient's home or nursing home. The purpose of Hospice care is to enable patients to live as fully and comfortably as possible by ministering to their physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs, as well as to those needs of their loved ones. Hospice always affirms life, and neither hastens nor postpones death.
