The Lazar Center

The Lazar Center is an education and enrichment center that serves students grades K-5 through 12th grade. Teachers at The Lazar Center have the opportunity to provide individualized, in-person, small group tutoring for up to 20 hours per week (130 + hours/year) within the Charlotte-Mecklenburg School system. We are looking for part-time tutors to help students in grades 7-12 improve their executive functions skills and review class content to comprehension for grade-level proficiency through small group tutoring.

The Lazar Center follows a 1:2 teacher to student ratio model focused on the students individualized needs within the K-12 standards. Our program furthers our objective of ensuring all students develop the strong foundation in problem solving, while building their confidence within their specified classes.
